The sector was long overdue for a shake-up and they saw an opportunity for a new, modern, globally focused player to introduce a fresh, pro-active attitude, with more energy and a genuine desire to add value for customers and make their life easier.

Business would be grown by growing customers businesses; listening to what customers wanted and then delivering smart ideas and exceptional quality products and service.

BOA believes business owners using traditional hydraulic hose maintenance systems are being ripped off. They’re paying too much and experiencing unnecessary downtime.

The New Zealand logging industry alone is bleeding in excess of $130 million dollars annually in lost productivity due to blown hydraulic hoses. This is 700+ crews losing 10 to 15 hours per month per crew at an average cost of $1500 per hour.

BOA has developed an innovative and simple solution. We are pioneering the fast replacement of blown hoses that is significantly increasing #hydraulic_uptime.

Our solution gives logging contractors the capability to assemble robust Yokohama hydraulic hoses on-site, significantly reducing downtime by 50% to 80%. The net result is increased productivity and higher quality hoses that are 50% to 60% cheaper to replace than calling a mobile hose contractor.

Savings across other industries are consistently significant.

We deliver this through our 5 pillars of #hydraulic_uptime:

• Save thousands of dollars; minimise the cost of downtime. Taking the solution nearer to the need reduces turnaround time, and with hose costs 40-60% less it makes replacing hoses before they blow even more attractive.

• Asset and Inventory Management. Not only do we provide labelled parts bins to make inventory management easier, we are driven to be a leader in making inventory management easy and delivering increased long-term asset value.

• Health and Wellbeing. Your health and wellbeing and that of your staff is important to us. We are all about upskilling operators, ensuring they are 100% trained and competent. Reducing downtime also means less overtime – more time with the family.

• Environmental Compliance. Reducing the number of hoses that blow in service reduces oil spills.

• Switch Easy. We are constantly redefining our processes and challenging the status quo to make it easier for you.

Cutting out as many pesky forms as possible, offering payment options and getting our hands dirty helping you set up is just a start.

We exist to annihilate downtime and put thousands of dollars back into the pockets of those who deserve it.

BOA is a whole new creature altogether in the hydraulic sector.
